Citizen L20:
The Citizen L20 is a sliding headstock CNC lathe designed for precision turning and mill-turn operations on small-diameter parts. It’s widely used in industries like medical, aerospace, automotive, and electronics for high-accuracy, high-volume production. The L20 has a bar capacity of up to 20mm in diameter and with a maximum machining length of 200mm. With a swindle speed that can reach 10,000 rpm, it allows for fast and precise turning on bars with a smaller diameter. Similar to the L32, it has built in driven tools which allows for milling, drilling and tapping to occur without having to change to alternative machines.
Citizen L32:
The Citizen L32 is a sliding headstock CNC lathe, which is used to produce complex turned parts, similar to that of the L20. However, it is able to produce parts not only greater in diameter but also that in length. As a result, this machine would be perfect for parts that would be too long for the L20 as the L32 allows for parts upto 320mm long to be produced with a diameter of 32mm and with the capability on certain machines to increase this to 38mm. Whilst it has a lower top speed than that of the L20, it has more torque which is better suited to parts with a larger diameter.
Citizen Miyano:
Citizen Miyano machine refers to a range of fixed-head CNC turning centres, which is contrast to that of the sliding headstock variations, L20 and L32. They’re designed for medium-to-large bar and billet machining with high productivity, rigidity, and multi-process capability. Miyano machines excel in production turning of medium-to-large diameter parts that require multi-operation capabilities in a single setup — common in automotive, aerospace, hydraulics, medical, and precision subcontracting.
Vulcan:
The Vulcan TC250M is a CNC turning centre / lathe in the TC series, aimed at flexible and cost-effective production. It’s a single-spindle turning machine with live tooling added to the turret for enhanced machining capability. the Vulcan TC250M is a versatile CNC turning centre with live tooling that goes beyond simple turning. Its configuration lets you integrate multiple machining operations (turning, drilling, tapping, light milling) in one setup, improving efficiency and reducing handling on moderately sized workpieces.
Nakamura AS200:
The Nakamura AS-200 is a multitasking CNC turning centre — combining precision turning with milling and drilling functions in one compact machine. It’s designed for efficient production of complex parts where multiple operations can be done in a single setup. Turning Operations. Can handle workpieces up to ~290 mm diameter on a 12-station turret with a typical turning length of around 300mm. The Nakamura AS200 has a bar capacity of 65mm and uses a robust spindle with maximum speed of 4500 rpm and a strong drive power
Nakamura AS200-L:The AS-200L is an extended-length version of the standard AS-200. It’s a single-turret, Y-axis CNC turning centre with integrated milling capability, designed to combine turning and milling/drilling operations in one machine, helping reduce setups and improve productivity.The AS-200L is a compact but powerful multitasking turning centre suited for medium-length precision parts. Its strengths include:Longer turning capacity than the base model (~570 mm).Integrated Y-axis and high-speed milling spindles for combined turn-mill operations.Flexible tooling and high productivity in one setup.This makes the AS-200L great for shops that want complex parts machined in one go — reducing fixture changes and secondary operations.
